Weather Policy

Koka Booth Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue and we use a weather data team to monitor weather conditions hourly on event days. All events are rain or shine. Venue policy is no refunds or exchanges in the event of rain, event delay and/or evacuation. Raincoats and ponchos are allowed. 

If the venue is under a weather advisory, please pay close attention to stage announcements.  The event may be delayed until the weather advisory has expired. 

Information will be posted on the Amphitheatre Facebook and Twitter pages, at www.boothamphitheatre.com, or call our weather Hotline at 919-459-8332 for updates before & during the event. This hotline will be updated with weather information before and during our events if severe weather conditions are approaching/affecting the area.

In the event of a weather delay and evacuation please listen for the air horn in the parking lot as the signal it is safe to re-enter the venue.  Please keep your ticket & have it ready when re-entering the gate.  Venue policy is no refunds or exchanges in the event of rain, event delay and/or evacuation.

In the event of severe weather conditions such as thunder & lightning, etc. that occur during events announcements will be made from the stage concerning the status of the event due to weather conditions. Information will be posted on the Koka Booth Amphitheatre Facebook and Twitter pages. We ask all patrons to remain calm and listen for these announcements.  

KBA Series events

These events may be weather dependent. In the event of severe weather conditions such as thunder & lightning, etc. that occur during events announcements will be made from the stage concerning the status of the event due to weather conditions. Information will be posted on the Koka Booth Amphitheatre Facebook and Twitter pages. We ask all patrons to remain calm and listen for these announcements.  

Chinese Lantern Festival

The event will go on Rain or Shine HOWEVER please visit our website, social media or call our weather hotline 919-459-8332 in the case of extreme weather conditions and/or slippery road or surface conditions. Patron safety is our top priority. In the best interest of our patrons, we may decide to close on nights we feel walking conditions are unsafe.
