Tucked among residential neighborhoods and local businesses, the Amphitheatre offers a relaxed, community feel from the moment you arrive. Parking signage and friendly attendants will guide you as you approach the venue.

Our free and paid parking areas may change from event to event, so be sure to check the event page for exact parking details. You'll also find parking information in your Know Before You Go email before each show.

A little planning goes a long way. Reviewing our recommended directional routes in advance helps ensure a smooth, stress-free arrival—so you can focus on the event, the setting, and an unforgettable evening under the open sky.

ADA PARKING LOT
This parking lot is free with an approved license plate or a hang tag.

For select events, a free shuttle is provided at the Chiesi USA parking lot to the venue.

DIRECTIONS TO FREE PARKING: 

For the smoothest arrival, we suggest using our recommended routes below to reach the free parking lot.

Please note: Your GPS route will direct you to Tryon Road, Exit 98A; however, we recommend using Exit 96, Ten Ten Road, from Hwy US1.

If you are coming from Cary, take Kildaire Farm Road to Penny Road to Ederlee Drive. Full directions are below.

From 40 West (Wilmington) and 70 West (Goldsboro):

From Raleigh via I-40 West:

  • Take I-40 West toward Durham
  • Take US 1 South to Sanford (Exit 293-A)
  • Take the Ten Ten Road exit (Exit 96)
  • Turn right at the light onto Ten Ten Road
  • Turn left on Penny Road
  • Turn left on Ederlee Drive
  • 175 Regency Woods Place will be on your right.

From Raleigh via I-440:

  • Take I-440, which becomes US 1 South toward Sanford
  • Take the Ten Ten Road exit (Exit 96)
  • Turn right at the light onto Ten Ten Road
  • Turn left on Penny Road
  • Turn left on Ederlee Drive

From Cary via Kildaire Farm Road:

  • Head south on Kildaire Farm Road
  • Turn right onto Tryon Road (hospital on the right)
  • Turn left at the light onto Regency Parkway
  • Follow Regency Parkway around to the right when the road splits
  • The Amphitheatre is the 2nd entrance on your left

From Durham via I-40 East:

  • Take I-40 East toward Raleigh
  • Stay on I-40 East — do not exit onto Wade Avenue
  • Take US 1 South to Sanford (Exit 293-A)
  • Take the Ten Ten Road exit (Exit 96)
  • Turn right at the light onto Ten Ten Road
  • Turn left on Penny Road
  • Turn left on Ederlee Drive

From Apex via US-64 West:

  • Take US-64 West, which becomes Tryon Road
  • Continue past Exit 404 A & B
  • Turn right at the first light onto Regency Parkway
  • Stay to the left on Regency Parkway, following it around to the right when the road splits

From Sanford via US-1 North:

  • Head north on US-1 toward Raleigh
  • Take the Ten Ten Road exit (Exit 96)
  • Turn right at the light onto Ten Ten Road
  • Turn left on Penny Road
  • Turn left on Ederlee Drive

  • Follow Regency Parkway around to the right when the road splits

From Cary via Kildaire Farm Road:

From Apex via US-64 West:

  • Take US-64 West, which becomes Tryon Road

FAQs

Accessible Parking

A limited number of spaces are available in the Accessible parking lot located across from the main gate and box office. A valid accessible hang tag or license plate must be displayed in order to park in this lot. Patrons will be parked on a first come first served basis. This lot is free of charge unless otherwise noted on the event page.

Neighboring Parking Lots

When parking in neighboring lots, please note these lots are self-parking facilities, and you do so at your own risk. By entering, paying, or parking, you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, the lot owner and the parking lot operator are not responsible for theft, loss, damage, or injury involving you, your vehicle, its contents, or any person in the lot. No bailment or duty of safekeeping is created.

Passenger Bus Parking

Bus parking is available during the NC Chinese Lantern Festival only. Please call ahead at 919-462-2025 to let us know which night you'll be attending so we can best accommodate your group.

Rideshare + Drop-Off & Pick-Up Zone

Whether you're using a taxi, Uber, or Lyft, or simply dropping off a friend or family member, Koka Booth Amphitheatre has a designated drop-off and pick-up area. For the safety of all patrons, please follow the signs to this designated area when arriving at the venue. Please do not drop off or pick up in any other areas.

RV Parking

We cannot accommodate RV Parking.

Tailgating

We understand that a portion of your event experience might involve socializing with friends in the parking lot. Tailgating must be confined to the rear of your vehicle and not interfere with the parking of other vehicles.

  • Tents and canopies are not permitted.
  • No grilling allowed in venue parking lots.  Due to the risk, no open flame fires, charcoal and/or gas grills are prohibited. 
  • We ask that you help keep the parking lot clean and use our trash cans and recycle bins provided near the venue gates.

Vehicles parked incorrectly or left overnight (not relocated prior to 9 a.m. the following day) may be ticketed or towed at the owners expense.
