CURRANT JOB POSTINGS FOR BOOTH AMPHITHEATRE

POSITION: Parking Attendant
DEPARTMENT: Parking
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager 


ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has several openings for Parking Attendants at Koka Booth Amphitheatre for its season. The Parking Attendant will be primarily responsible for assisting the directional flow of all incoming and exiting traffic in Koka Booth Amphitheatre’s internal parking spaces at scheduled events.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Read and understand event notes prior to each event
  • Assist in setting up, breaking down and altering traffic patterns as needed
  • Direct vehicles to appropriate areas/lots based on pass, permit or status (stage crew, venue guest, etc.)
  • Assist patrons with general venue/event information in a positive and friendly manner
  • Monitor parking areas for fill status, vandalism, etc.
  • Assist parking supervisors, Town of Cary staff and/or other venue employees as requested by supervisors
  • Arrive prepared for work based on the event, weather forecast and department/venue policies
  • Other duties may be assigned

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has several openings on the Operations Staff at Koka Booth Amphitheatre for its season. The Operations Staff will be primarily responsible for setting up and breaking down event specific requirements for scheduled events. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Read and understand events notes prior to each event
  • Assist in setting up, breaking down event requirements as needed
  • Assist patrons with general venue/event information in a positive and friendly manner
  • Assist Koka Booth Amphitheatre management, Town of Cary staff and/or other venue employees as requested by supervisors
  • Arrive prepared for work based on the event, weather forecast and department/venue policies
  • Other duties may be assigned 

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to follow both written and oral direction with minimal continuous supervision
  • Ability to work during all weather conditions
  • Flexible schedule with availability on nights and weekends
  • Ability to read and implement basic diagrams
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 70 pounds from ground level to tabletop height without assistance
  • Ability to move/control weighted equipment up/down inclines and over uneven surfaces in all weather conditions
  • Ability to kneel, bend, climb, crawl in order to complete task
  • Ability navigate/stabilize self on all surfaces in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: gravel, pine straw, grass, pavers, concrete, asphalt
  • Positive and outgoing attitude
  • Proficient in basic math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Have attained at least 18 years of age

POSITION: Ticket Seller
DEPARTMENT: Box Office
REPORTS TO: Box Office Manager
FLSA STATUS: Part-time/Hourly/Non-exempt 

ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for a Ticket Seller at Booth Amphitheatre. This position primarily consists of assisting patrons with ticket purchasing as well as demonstrating excellent customer service to all patrons. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Sell tickets and keep an accurate cash and ticket count of computer printed and/or hard tickets. 
  • Distribute Will Call orders to patrons correctly.
  • Efficiently answer patron questions via phone and in person about that day’s events and future events.
  • Accept payment and accurately make change as needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude even in hectic situations and responds to customer needs in a timely manner without assistance if necessary.
  • Balance change bank, receipts and submit to Box Office Manager for verification.
  • Arrive to work on time and in appropriate uniform 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Box Office experience required.
  • Etix Experience Preferred.  
  • Ability to count money and give accurate change.  
  • Available to work flexible hours, including days, nights & weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills; Listen & respond well to questions.
  • Pass background checks.
