North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival Will Return for Celebratory 10th Year!

Cary, NC — Cue the lights because the region’s most stunning holiday tradition is back! Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre will once again welcome the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival when it returns this winter for a celebratory 10^th year. Tickets are on sale now for the eight-week run from November 15, 2025 - January 11, 2026.

Chinese artisans are already busy crafting more than 40 all new displays, each one comprised of hundreds of parts, and thousands of LED lights. These larger-than-life lanterns will captivate visitors at every turn with amazing craftmanship and artistic beauty. Cultural arts performances will take place each night on the main stage.

ANY NIGHT TICKET

Want flexibility or the ability to “gift” tickets to someone, then the ANY NIGHT Ticket is for you!

Any Night ticket prices: July 1-July 5 ages 3 & up pay $27. Regular price is $32 per person if purchased July 6-November 14^th, when the price will increase to $37 starting November 15, 2025-January 11, 2026.

TWILIGHT SESSION TICKET

Enjoy the lanterns during the “Golden Hour”, which is 90 minutes prior to opening. This ticket allows you early entry and reduced crowds as you witness the lanterns come to life in the night sky. This opportunity is perfect for those that want a little extra time and more room to move around. It also presents the perfect backdrop for pictures. Twilight Tickets will be offered Monday-Sunday beginning at 4:30 p.m. and not available on Thanksgiving & Christmas Eve.

Ticket prices: $27 for ages 13+; $16 kids ages 3-12. Kids 2 & under free. No discounts. Prices will increase $5 on the Date of the event. Tickets are date specific. ANY NIGHT tickets cannot be used for this package.

EVENING SESSION TICKET

Buy tickets for a specific night and enjoy the lanterns and cultural arts performances from 6-10 p.m.

Ticket prices Sunday-Thursday: $18 for ages 13+; $12 kids ages 3-12, Seniors, Military & College Students $14 with a valid ID. Kids 2 & under free.

Prices will increase $5 on the Date of the event. Tickets are date specific.Ticket Price Friday, Saturday & Holidays (Nov 27, Dec 24 & Jan 1): $22 for ages 13+; $16 kids ages 3-12. Kids 2 & under free. No Discounts. Prices will increase $5 on the Date of the event. Tickets are date specific.
