Parking Information

Lots open at 2:30pm

GENERAL PARKING: Parking is free of charge in Amphitheatre owned lots. Some local businesses may charge a fee to park in their lots.

PREFERRED PARKING: A limited number of PREFERRED parking spaces are available for $10.00 per car in advance or $15.00 on the day of event (cash only).

ACCESSIBLE PARKING: A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available on a first come first served basis with the proper hang tag or license plate.

PICK UP & DROP OFF: If using a taxi, Uber etc please follow the signs & our Parking Staff to the pick up & drop off area.

Please note part of Regency Parkway & Ederlee Dr will be closed on July 4th starting at approximatly 6:30pm-Midnight. See map above for locations.


Event Schedule

Family fun activities include: Magic shows, Gem Mining, Rock Climbing wall, Ferris Wheel & Carousel, Ice Cream eating contest, Hot Dog Eating contest & Watermelon seed spitting contest!

  • Family Fun Activities: 3:00pm-7:00pm
  • Ferris Wheel, Carousel & Rock Climbing Wall: 3:00pm-7:30pm**
  • Koka Kids Zone Magic Shows: 3:30pm, 4:30pm & 5:30pm
  • Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest: 4:00pm 
  • Ice Cream Eating Contest: 4:45pm, 5:30pm & 6pm
  • Hot Dog Eating Contest: 5:00pm
  • Cary Town Band: 5:45pm
  • Repel Team: 6:50pm
  • NC Symphony: 7:30pm
  • Fireworks to follow the concert (approx 9:25pm)

**Tickets for the Ferris Wheel, Carousel & Rock Wall may be purchased using CASH only near the rides.

*A small Cash fee will be charged for the Ice Cream Eating Contest, & Gem Mining.

Ice Cream Eating Contest registration will be held at the Lumpy's cart in the Cobblestone Courtyard.

  • Coolers
  • Breathable Blankets & Towels Only (No Nylon/plastic)
  • Food & Beverages (Including beer & wine/Glass okay)
  • Lawn chairs (Any Height okay. NO foot rest or Canopy)
  • Purses & Backpacks
  • Small non-professional cameras with no flash
  • Strollers
  • Rain Coats & Ponchos
  • Umbrellas permitted but must come down when Symphony takes the stage.

All coolers, bags, back packs, purses are subject to search.

Prohibited Items

  • Go Pros, Audio or video recorders
  • Grills & Open Flames (inside or outside the venue)
  • Drones
  • Fireworks/Sparklers of any kind
  • Frisbees
  • Liquor
  • Pets of any kind (Unless it’s a service Animal)
  • Tents/Staking
  • Tarps, Plastic, blankets with Nylon or Non-Breathable material
  • Professional cameras with detachable lenses
  • Weapons of Any Kind (Include but not limited to knives, guns, tasers, chains, studded/spiked jewelry)

Food & Beverage Options

Venue concession stands will be open serving a variety of fantastic food and beverages. Food trucks are located on the Lake path. Food trucks scheduled will be posted on our website 48 hours before the event.
