Event Information

Weather Policy

All events are rain or shine.

Rain coats and ponchos are allowed for all events.  Umbrellas are not allowed for most events.  Please check the Items Allowed/Prohibited on the specific event page you are attending to see if umbrellas are allowed.

In the event of severe weather conditions (thunder/lightning, etc.) announcements will be made from the stage concerning the status of the event due to weather conditions. We ask all patrons to remain calm and listen for these announcements.

Information will be posted on the Amphitheatre Facebook and Twitter pages, at www.boothamphitheatre.com or call our weather Hotline at 919-459-8332 for updates before & during the event.

In the event of a weather delay please listen for the air horn in the parking lot as signal it is safe to re-enter the venue.  Please keep your ticket & have it ready when re-entering the gate.  Venue policy is no refunds or exchanges in the event of rain.

ANY NIGHT TICKETS:

Any Night tickets are $20.00 each for all ages (Kids 2 & under are free and do not need ticket). Any Night tickets allows you the flexability to pick the night you want to attend (tickets are one time use only and cannot be used on multiple nights)!

Reserve a private area during the Chinese Lantern festival for your group outing.  Whether you’re a company, family or a group of friends, we will give you an experience to remember.   Groups are considered 20 or more people and specific days will offer a discount towards each ticket. 

 

  • Area will accomidate up to 60 people.
  • Covered/Tented space.
  • Heaters, chairs, tables and linens included.

Group Pricing

You must have 20 or more to qualify as a group!

You must go directly through our group coordinator to receive this pricing.  Purchasing online will result in paying additional processing fees. 

Group discounts are offered Tuesday - Thursday and Sunday.  NO discounts will be offered during blackout period December 20th - January 1st.

 

Adults 13 & Older: $12.39 (includes taxes & fees)

Kids 3-12: $10.32 (includes taxes & fees)

We can accomodate buses, large groups, offer catering packages and private areas.

CLF Weather Policy

The event will go on Rain or Shine HOWEVER please visit our website, social media or call our weather hotline 919-459-8332 in the case of extreme weather conditions and/or slippery road or surface conditions. Patron safety is our top priority so in the best interest of our patrons, we may decide to close on nights we feel walking conditions are unsafe.

Method of Payment Accepted

The Box Office Accepts: Cash, Master Card, Visa, Amex & Discover.

CASH: Cash is the cheapest way to purchase tickets at the Box Office. No fees added.

CREDIT & DEBIT CARDS: 

Cardholder must be present with a valid photo ID when paying at the venue Box Office with a credit or debit card. 

GIFT CARDS, REWARDS CARDS & TEMPORARY CARDS: While we do accept these cards with a Visa, MC or AMEX logo on them we encourge patrons to bring an addtional methods of payment.  Some transactions will not go through if these cards do not have a name on the card.

TAXES & FEES:

  • Tickets for Booth Amphitheatre events are subject to applicable taxes and fees. Unless otherwise stated, posted prices include a 7.25% NC Sales & Use tax.
  •  A 3% fee will be added to the ticket price when paying by Credit/Debit cards.

Concession Stands Accept: Cash, Master Card, Visa, Amex & Discover.

Food Trucks: Method of Payment Varies, some will take cash & credit/debit.

ATMS: Available on-site.

Tips On Planning Your Visit

 

Patrons will be walking through the venue to observe the light displays however there will be limited seating on the crescent deck for those that want to relax and take in the view! Venue food/beverage stands will be open selling holiday treats and beverages. Please note, the venue is not able to provide wheelchairs for patrons at this event. It takes most patrons about 45-75 minutes to view all of the displays.

  • Parking is free of charge.
  • Lines to purchase tickets at the Box Office on the night of & to enter the event may be long on Weekends, Holidays & Warm Weather Nights.
  • Gates open at 6:00pm, however you may arrive anytime between 6pm-9pm.  Event closes at 10:00pm
  • Patrons will walk through our outdoor venue to observe the lanterns.  
  • Plan for 45-75 minutes to view all light displays and enjoy the live cultural performances.
  • The total walkthrough is approximately ½ mile.
  • There will be limited seating on the crescent deck for those that want to relax and take in the view!
  • Venue food/beverage stands will be open selling holiday treats and beverages on the Crescent Deck. 
  • Please note, the venue is not able to provide wheelchairs for patrons at this event, but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • Pets are not allowed.

Cultural performances will take place on the stage several times throughout the evening, weather permitting.

Accessibility

Koka Booth Amphitheatre has paved walkways throughout the venue & is Wheel Chair accessible. 

Please note: Koka Booth Amphitheatre is unable to provide Wheel Chairs for patrons to use. You may bring your own wheel chair or scooter in with you.
