Cary Diwali 'Jashn' - Celebrating 10 Years of Hum Sub
"Jashn" is a celebration of an auspicious event or festival nurturing a feeling of communal warmth, and its merrymaking as highlighted in India's tradition. 10 years of Hum Sub and Cary Diwali calls for such a celebration. Diwali, as a festival of lights encourages artistic expressions which will be portrayed in this year's Cary Diwali with vibrant performances by the local artists, unique exhibits on various aspects of India and colorful decorations. Every year attendees take in the buzz and feel the euphoria created by the colorful decorations, exhibition, bazaar and performances. They come back for more with family and friends to enjoy the Indian cuisine and culture and have made Cary Diwali one of the biggest minority events in the South East.
The highlight of the event is the evening performance by a popular performing group. The entire event is free (select # of reserved seats available for $10) and open to the public. |
